Titles and Credits

Thoughts on Titles and Credits

-Having music to set the scene

-In our genre there could be narration / voiceover while the credits are coming up

-The title will also come up after the credits will be finished with a plain white background - where the title goes varies from film to film

 - Credits often appear over establishing shots. We are straight into action so will have to think more carefully about where ours appear

- The title needs to appear in quite a clever way

Production Company Logos and Idents

Pixar
-14 second clip

-A jumping lamp appearing and jumping on the ‘I’

Paramount

-The stars going through the cloud

-circles around a mountain

-the word ‘Paramount’ comes in the middle

Dreamworks

-Lasts for 24 seconds

-first image of the cloud

-boy flying led by his balloons

-sits on the moon and the balloons fly away

-The balloons changes colours and the name appears

Warner Bros

-sepia colour of houses

-Then the icon appears with a slow motion flip

-sky in the background

Universal

-Lights turning on on earth while it’s orbiting

-Then ‘Universal’ appears

 20th Century Fox

-High angle looking down at the statue

 -Angle moves around the stature

-Low angle with lights shining on it

Walt Disney Picture

-Clouds at the beginning and going down to see a river

-This then leads to the Disney castle and fireworks going off around it

-‘Walt Disney’ appears at the bottom

Our Company

- a point in a map is picked out by a pin

- stop motion animation to do this?

- the place could be named Pinpoint Productions?
